Hiring: Director of Advertising Operations

We are looking for an experienced Director of Advertising operations to manage and optimize digital media campaigns. You will be in charge of setting up and keeping track of all marketing campaign components—analytics, reporting, and delivery included. 

Our ideal candidate is performance-driven, analytical, and a multi-tasker proficient in interpreting ad analytics, measuring KPIs, and translating data into actionable insights.  

This role works with multiple departments across the agency to execute at a high level for our clients. The ideal candidate is a team player, detail-oriented, and can juggle multiple assignments on deadline. This is a client-facing role, so interpersonal communication skills are important.

Responsibilities:

  • Build media buying plans across a variety of networks, including Facebook, Google and networks for CTV/OTT. 
  • Collaborate with designers and editors who are making advertising creative for the clients.
  • Ensure timely execution of all tasks related to ad operations, including trafficking, troubleshooting, optimization, and reporting of ad campaigns.
  • Document, update, and maintain advertising operations policies, performance, and procedures.

What a Typical Day on the Job Looks Like:

  • You will oversee advertising campaigns, make optimization recommendations and give reporting and campaign recaps.
  • You will be an integral part of our advertising operations team in staying on top of media trends, researching emerging platforms, maintaining vendor relationships, and more.
  • Manage internal processes to ensure optimal ad campaign execution while maintaining standards of operation.
  • Monitor ad performance and create campaign reports to identify and draw attention to areas for improvement.
  • Engage with content development and account management teams to ensure our clients are getting the best service and the best possible content.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • A passionate interest in politics.
  • A team player with enthusiasm who wants to work at a fast-paced and growing company.
  • Personal or professional social media experience across channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Gettr, Rumble, Parler, Truth Social, etc.
  • Deadline-driven mindset and willingness to work flexible hours during the political cycle.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of advertising platforms (Facebook, Google Ads, Programmatic, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager)
  • Basic understanding of various types of advertising goals and KPIs.
  • Ready and willing to learn new platforms quickly.
